The Importance of Giving You Exceptional Care and Service
As our patient, you are as important to us as our own family members. That’s why we have made excellent customer service and exceptional quality of care the cornerstones of Elite Vision Care. Exceptional quality care includes providing comprehensive services for our patients. That’s why treat all types of eye issues. We offer the largest selection of eyewear and contacts in our boutique eyecare center.
We provide treatment for dry eyes, eye allergies, glaucoma, and treatment for macular degeneration, red eyes, diabetic retinopathy, cataracts and treatment for pink eye. With dry eyes, we look at the cornea (the front surface of the eye) on a cellular level and plan a treatment protocol using this information. The same is true for glaucoma and macular degeneration. With glaucoma, we can often detect it before any vision damage has occurred. Our eye doctors are optometric glaucoma specialists. Exceptional quality care also means we spend more time explaining conditions and treatment options to our patients.
Our eye doctors offer comprehensive care for refractive and cataract surgery patients. If you are considering refractive surgery or cataract surgery, our doctors of optometry will thoroughly evaluate your vision to determine if you are a candidate. If they determine that you are, they will refer you to an experienced, qualified board-certified ophthalmic surgeon.
You’ll feel confident knowing that our eye doctors will handle all pre- and post-operative care to make sure your recovery is quick and successful. By working closely with your ophthalmologist, we can ensure the most efficient and focused care possible.
Helping Children See Their Future
Children are our future. What they learn today will greatly influence our world tomorrow. In fact, for the first 12 years of life, nearly 80% of learning is accomplished through the eyes. That’s why protecting a child’s vision is so important and why we love working with children.
Strabismus (eye turn) is a condition in which the child cannot properly align both eyes. It affects about 4% of the population. Untreated strabismus can cause headaches, poor depth perception, double vision, amblyopia and other problems. Amblyopia, or lazy eye, is a condition in which one or both eyes have reduced vision, not caused by injury or disease, that cannot be improved by corrective lenses. Amblyopia occurs in approximately 3% of the population and can be detected in young children and overcome with vision therapy, special glasses and/or eye-patching.
