Education & Experience

Dr. Melissa Carcano earned her Bachelor of Science degree in Biology from Texas A&M University in College Station and subsequently earned her Doctorate in Optometry from the University of Houston. She is a licensed Therapeutic Optometrist and Glaucoma Specialist. Her optometric training includes clinical externship rotations Eye Center of Texas and Elite Vision Care in League City, TX.

Get to Know Dr. Carcano

Dr. Carcano loves being able to practice full scope optometry while focusing on optometric healthcare for the entire family. As a mom, she understands how important it is to find a practice comfortable seeing patients of all ages, from infants to adults.

Born and raised in Galveston, Dr. Carcano decided to move to League City after completing her optometric schooling to be closer to her family. When she is not treating patients, she enjoys yoga and dancing to stay active as well as spending time outdoors with her two young children.
