About Dr. Neer Hazra

Dr. Neer Hazra is a compassionate optometrist and dry eye specialist at Elite Vision Care in League City, Texas. She offers a wide range of eye care services, including comprehensive eye exams, updated vision prescriptions, and eye disease management, particularly for dry eye disease.

A native of Galveston, Dr. Hazra loves to keep her patients educated about their eyes and their health, and always wants to make sure their opinions and concerns are heard. She was drawn to optometry because of her fascination with the eyes and how they can offer a complete picture of the body’s health.

Dr. Hazra enjoys working with the team at Elite Vision Care to help the members of her community achieve healthy eyes and clear vision. When she’s not at the office, she loves to read, as well as cook and bake delicious foods for herself and her friends and family!

Dr. Hazra was drawn to optometry because she loves how the eyes can tell so much about the overall health of the body, something no other organ is able to accomplish non-invasively. She cares deeply about educating her patients about their eyes and health, and always takes her time to address any concerns patients may have to make sure they feel heard.

Born and raised in Galveston, Dr. Hazra now lives in Houston with her fiancé and their dog. She is bilingual, being fluent in both English and Bengali. When she’s not taking care of her patients’ vision, she enjoys reading, cooking, and baking treats for her and her loved ones.
